Installing Switch Games Directly with Russian DBI (v774)

This method downloads and installs games straight onto a modded Switch over the network, no PC needed once it's set up.

SD card setup

  1. Download dbi_ru.zip.
  2. Insert your Switch's SD card into your PC.
  3. Navigate to the /switch/ directory on the SD card and create a new folder named DBI_RU.
  4. To display English game names, create a new text file inside /switch/DBI_RU/: right-click, choose New File, and name it dbi.locations.
  5. Open dbi.locations and paste the following:
[Location_0]
Name=NotUltraNX
Type=ApacheHTTP
URL=https://dbi.ultranx.ru/en/
  1. Extract the contents of dbi_ru.zip into the /switch/DBI_RU/ folder on the SD card.
  2. Put the SD card back into your Switch.

On the Switch

  1. Power on and open the Homebrew Menu: enter Tile Mode by holding R while launching any game.
  2. Open DBI v774.
  3. Select NotUltraNX and press A to connect to the server.

You'll see several options:

Finding and installing a game

    • Base Game
    • Updates
    • DLC
    • Mods
  4. To pick what to download:
